Dirty Work Videos

Rolling Stones Medley

This video was filmed at Louie’s Rock City on May 18, 1979.

She Wants Love

This video was filmed, unknown to us at Louie’s Rock City, March of ’79, at least 5 years before home video cameras were a common thing. I think it was a “Battle of the Bands”. It’s like little time capsule of Dirty Work in it’s “cover band ” origin. This song is a forgotten early original, featuring references to our College Park night life stomping ground.

Slow Down

This was done at Bambino’s in Riverdale, with an early home video camera. Dirty Work liked doing these rev-ed up covers, this the Beatles made popular but they covered it too. I don’t remember who did it first. It was a week night and not many people were there. It kinda looks more like a staged rehearsal.

Don’t Let Go

Again, Bambino’s probably sometime in ’81. This song could have been called “The Ballad Of Dirty Work” We always had a good time playing this one. Here is the live version with the studio version just below it.

Don’t Let Go (Studio Version)

An ode to Dirty Work’s rock n roll heart. Some kind of mission statement….

Dancin’ Days

This is typical of the covers Dirty Work did at the time. The sign in back was created by Lenny Righter and the University of MD pep committee. They were great supporters of the band and a huge help throughout that whole adventure.

This Is It

This is Dirty Work doing what it did best. Power and intensity. Frantic guitars. A well-oiled machine that’s on the verge of coming apart. Hang on tight boys, Billy’s gonna take us for a ride!

Radio

Driven by the pounding Dirty Work rhythm section. A classic sounding rocker.
